Notable Cases:

On an application for an Emergency Protection Order, representing a Father accused of historical sexual abuse.  The application was refused by the judge pursuant to Re X, with the court considering that the terms of the written agreement offered by the Father were sufficient in the circumstances.

In care proceedings, representing an extremely vulnerable Mother (a victim of domestic abuse with long-term drug and alcohol addictions) from first appearance to final hearing.

Within care proceedings, representing an Aunt who sought a Special Guardianship Order in circumstances where a social worker had raised significant concerns about her.  Following cross-examination of the social worker, the SGO was granted in favour of the Aunt on day five of the seven day final hearing.
