Harcourt Chambers is delighted to welcome Claire Fenton-Glynn as an Associate Member

Dr Fenton-Glynn is a Fellow of Jesus College Cambridge, and a member of the Cambridge Law Faculty. Her research lies in the field of human rights and the protection of children. She has published on a wide range of issues including intercountry adoption, international surrogacy, and cross-border child protection, as well as children’s rights under the European Court of Human Rights.

Dr Fenton-Glynn’s first book, “Children’s Rights in Intercountry Adoption”, was awarded the Inner Temple Book Prize for New Authors, as well as the Faculty of Law’s Yorke Prize, and has been cited by the Court of Appeal.

Head of Chambers Frances Judd QC said: “We are excited to have Claire join Harcourt Chambers. She is an excellent fit with Chambers, adding depth to our existing expertise in international children cases. We look forward to working with her in the coming years.”
