Harcourt Chambers Announces Sponsorship of INCADAT for 2025–26

11th Jul 2025 | News

Harcourt Chambers is proud to join a distinguished group of international legal sponsors supporting the Hague Conference on Private International Law’s International Child Abduction Database (INCADAT) for the 2025–2026 financial year.

INCADAT remains the world’s only comprehensive, freely accessible legal database focused exclusively on the 1980 Hague Child Abduction Convention. It offers invaluable case summaries, full texts, and legal analyses from over 55 jurisdictions, with multilingual content in English, French, and Spanish.

As part of its ongoing commitment to strengthening international family law, Harcourt Chambers has made a voluntary contribution alongside fellow family law firms, totalling €51,000 in support for the coming year.

This funding underpins the essential operation, maintenance, hosting, and technical enhancements of INCADAT—vital to practitioners, academics, and judicial authorities globally.

Harcourt Chambers is particularly pleased to support the recent launch of INCADAT’s email notification service. This innovative tool alerts users when new case decisions are uploaded, enhancing timely engagement with the latest international child abduction jurisprudence.

Visit the INCADAT website to register for the notification service or to explore the extensive case database.
