Practice Profile

Fiona is a family law specialist who practices exclusively in financial remedy cases. She is recommended as a Leading Junior in Chambers UK Bar Guide and Legal 500. Fiona lectures for Jordans Family Law in relation to pension issues. She has published works by Sweet and Maxwell, Practical Law and Westlaw. She is co-author of the leading text book in relation to Pension Sharing on Divorce – Pensions and Divorce, a Practitioner’s Handbook, Sweet and Maxwell, 2013, described by Mostyn J as a work “of exceptional clarity of expression”.


Since January 2013, Fiona has been authorised to sit in the High Court pursuant to s9 Senior Court Act 1981 and is a Recorder on the Midland Circuit.




Fiona’s financial remedy practice comprises complex and substantial cases, particularly those involving pensions and family businesses. Fiona is a member of the Chartered Institute of arbitrators and is available for private financial dispute resolution appointments and early neutral evaluations.
