Emily Rayner bound for New Zealand as Pegasus Scholar

18th August 2011

Harcourt chambers is pleased to announce that Emily Rayner has been offered a Pegasus scholarship.

This prestigious award is granted by the Pegasus Trust in association with the Inner Temple and is designed to allow English junior barristers to spend time abroad gaining experience of another common law jurisdiction.

Emily’s country of choice is New Zealand.  She will be leaving on 22nd August and spending four months working at Minter Elison Love, a Wellington-based law firm.  She will return to practice in England in the new year.

We at Harcourt are very pleased for Emily, who came through stiff competition from across the bar to be awarded this scholarship.  We wish her the very best during her time abroad and hope that she finds it fulfilling and enjoyable.  Most of all, we look forward to her return in 2012.
