Our work covers all areas of family law, with particular expertise in the following areas:
Our barristers are regulated by the Bar Standards Board.
You can search the Barristers’ Register on the Bar Standards Board website, this is an online register which shows whether a barrister has a current practising certificate and whether a barrister has any disciplinary findings here. Alternatively, you can contact the Bar Standards Board on 020 7611 1444 or by email.
All practising barristers in these chambers maintain professional liability insurance provided by the Bar Mutual Indemnity Fund.
All privately funded instructions are accepted on the standard Contractual Terms for the Supply of Legal Services by Barristers to Authorised Persons 2012, “The Standard Terms”, a copy of which may be found here.
Our barristers will generally charge hourly rates for written and advisory work and fixed fees for hearings. Our clerks are always available to discuss levels of fees and provide a quotation on request. Timescales for a case will vary depending on factors such as a barrister’s availability, the type and complexity of the case, the other side’s approach and court waiting times.
We recognise the importance of confidentiality and we are fully aware of our duties to keep client information confidential. Details of our Privacy Notice can be found here.
