Harcourt Chambers is delighted to welcome Ingrid Kinder and Louis Tavaré, who commence their pupillages with chambers today.
Ingrid Kinder studied Law at Durham University, graduating with First Class Honours, before completing the Bar Practice Course at the University of Law, where she achieved a High Distinction and was awarded an Advocacy Scholarship. She has gained experience across a range of legal settings, including family law mini-pupillages, and most recently worked as a Regulatory Assistant at the Bar Standards Board. Ingrid has a particular interest in matrimonial finance, private children work and modern families, including surrogacy and reproductive law.
Louis Tavaré studied Politics and East European Studies at UCL, graduating with First Class Honours, before completing the Graduate Diploma in Law with Distinction. Prior to joining Chambers, Louis worked as a paralegal at specialist family law firm Creighton & Partners, where he gained extensive experience in children cases, working with parents, guardians, local authorities and children directly. He previously undertook a mini-pupillage at Harcourt and has experience across both public and private children work. Louis was also the winner of the University of Law’s Plea in Mitigation Competition in 2025.
