Jason Green delivers talk on costs at Dawson Cornwell seminar

Jason Green attended Dawson Cornwell today to give a talk at their monthly seminar on the current climate for costs orders in children and financial remedy proceedings. Jason was able to draw on his recently published case M v F1 & Anor (Relocation) [2026] EWFC 284 and his earlier reported linked case S-O (Children), Re (Relocation and Prohibited Steps Order) [2026] EWCA Civ 998 to illustrate the likely approach the court will take to an application for costs.
