9th Oct 2024 | Blog

We are pleased to announce that John Vater KC’s latest article, “SIHIS: Mixed Messages and the Price of Justice” [2024] Fam Law 1302, is now available on the Family Law Journal website for subscribers. In this timely piece, John examines the development of the SIHIS Pilot, shedding light on contradictions and confusion surrounding its intended scope. He also provides a detailed analysis of the legal framework, discussing objections under both common law and European law to using a SIHIS report in place of Part 25 independent expert evidence.

Additionally, don’t miss the upcoming talk tomorrow, as part of the Family Law Bar Association’s autumn lecture series. The event will take place on Zoom at 6pm, where there will be discussions on the SIHIS Pilot in greater detail. This is an excellent opportunity for those interested in family law to gain further insight into this important topic.

To read the full article, visit the Family Law Journal website, and join the Zoom talk to stay informed.
