Matthew Brookes-Baker and Stephen Crispin have a case reported in the Local Government Lawyer

26th Apr 2024 | News

The Local Government Lawyer reported Matthew Brookes-Baker and Stephen Crispin’s recent case Bracknell Forest Council v Mother & Ors [2024] EWFC 68.

This case concerned fact-finding hearings and medical evidence relating to an infant less than a month old. The interesting element in this case was that the marks were also unusual in shape, meaning that a condition called cutis marmorata, which, like bruises, may not necessarily blanch under pressure, could not be discounted.
