Mavis Amonoo-Acquah spoke at the International Surrogacy Forum 2025 in Cape Town

Yesterday Mavis Amonoo-Acquah, as part of a panel of legal experts from different jurisdictions, spoke about advising European clients on surrogacies in Africa at the third International Surrogacy Forum 2025 which is being held in Cape Town, South Africa.

The conference was organised by the Nordic Centre for International and Comparative Family Law (NorFam) and co-organised by Miller du Toit Cloete Inc., the International Academy of Family Lawyers (IAFL) and the American Bar Association (ABA), and focused on updating delegates on developments regarding surrogacy around the globe, with a specific focus on African jurisdictions, as well as empirical research on surrogacy and other issues relating to assisted reproductive technologies (ART) and parenthood.
