Mehvish Chaudhry appears on behalf of the respondent father in child’s objections case

The appeal concerned the decision of Roberts J at first instance to order the return of three children to the Republic of Ireland pursuant to the 1980 Hague Convention. The Court of Appeal decision, Black LJ delivering the lead judgment, provides a detailed examination of the the child’s objections defence and joinder of children to appeals.

Mehvish Chaudhry, led by James Turner QC, appeared on behalf of the respondent father.
