Simon Miller

27th Mar 2025 | News

It is with great sadness that we announce the death, this afternoon (27th March 2025), of our dearest friend and colleague, Simon Miller.

Simon has been a core part of our set since he joined about 20 years ago – not just an accomplished advocate, he was a very good friend to us all, known for his kindness, particularly towards junior members of the Bar, his compassion, his excellent sense of humour and an extraordinary capacity for work. It was always a pleasure to be in a case with him. He won ‘Junior of the Year’ at the Family Law Awards at the end of last year, and the charity, Dad’s House Family Law Clinic, to which he gave a great deal of his time, won the Community award. He will be missed by all in Chambers, by many other colleagues at the Family Bar and by his instructing solicitors. We are grateful for the many messages of support we have received at this very difficult time.

Further details regarding funeral arrangements will be shared in due course.
