Members of Harcourt Chambers, family, friends and colleagues, gathered in Court 4 of the RCJ yesterday evening to witness the affirmations of Mr. Justice Garrido, following his recent appointment as a justice of the High Court, and his welcome to the bench by The Rt. Hon. Lady Chief Justice Carr who presided, alongside the Chancellor of the High Court and The President of the Family Division. Mr. Nick Goodwin KC replied on behalf of the Bar.
Mr. Justice Garrido was then welcomed to the Family Division of the High Court in Court 33 by Mr. Edward Devereux KC, speaking on behalf of the Family Law Bar Association, following which Mr. Justice Garrido addressed the court himself.
