Sian Cox’s article ‘Transparency and the public interest: what is the public interested in and what are we interested in showing them?’ published in Family Law Journal

14th Oct 2025 | News

Sian’s article on transparency has been published in Family Law Journal [2025] Fam Law 1033 September 2025.

In her article, Sian explores how family law cases have been reported on by the media since the introduction of Transparency Orders and the themes that coverage has focused on. Sian Norris, a journalist and author, provides useful insight into what the media, and by extension the public, is interested in hearing about. Together, they discuss the difference between the topics that lawyers consider to be in the public interest and those the public are actually interested in.
