Our work covers all areas of family law, with particular expertise in the following areas:
International child abduction to the UK from a county which is not a party to the 1980 Hague Convention.
Members of our International Family Law Team are regularly instructed to act in proceedings which involved children being brought to this jurisdiction from countries which are not signatories to the 1980 Hague Convention. We are highly experienced in relation to many different regions including the Middle East, Asia, British Overseas Territories, and Africa.
Our members are well versed in the practice and procedure governing these applications, often have a good working knowledge of foreign law, and can advise in relation to the operation of instruments such as the Protocol on Child Abduction Cases between the UK and Pakistan [2003] Fam Law 199.
