Chronic Neglect

Cases of chronic neglect can be the some of the most complex cases coming before the Family Courts. The members of our Public Law Children Team are very experienced at handling these types of cases from urgent interim care order hearings all the way through to final hearings; before Magistrates to High Court Judges.

We have a full understanding of the impact of domestic violence, substance misuse and mental health issues on parenting and ensuring these matters are properly canvassed before the court. We can advise on the most appropriate Part 25 application and make sure the best suited expert is used for the particular case.

Our members have considerable experience of working with vulnerable lay clients and will strive to build rapport and ensure all clients have a clear understanding of the proceedings and decisions.
