International Contact

Members of the International Family Law team are highly experienced in handling cases involving applications for international contact (also referred to as international access). Most commonly applications are made under Article 21 of the 1980 Hague Convention but we are very experienced at handling cases which arise a non-Hague Convention context.

Our members are able to assist and advice in the practical and legal aspects of such applications and the impact of any international instruments which may operate (such as the Brussels II revised regulation or the 1996 Hague Child Protection Convention).
