Care Proceedings

At first instance Members of our Public Law Children Team appear across the Family Courts, before the Magistrates to High Court Judges; we can provide effective and skilled representation at all levels. Every member of our specialist group realises that a case of chronic neglect before the Magistrates is often as complex and always as serious as an alleged homicide before a High Court Judge. Many of our juniors have experience working within local authorities, providing vital understanding both of the needs of local authorities, and of how to respond to these cases.

Our clerking team understands the necessity of tailoring the individual advocate to the individual case, at every stage. We fully understand that the first application is often of critical importance and are as committed to providing the highest quality of representation at the interim stages in a case as we are at finding of fact hearings and welfare determinations.
