Prior to becoming a barrister James worked as a researcher in the House of Lords and within the Home Office
James represents parents, extended family members, local authorities and children’s guardians. He is regularly instructed in matters concerning neglect, mental health, substance misuse, non-accidental injury, sexual abuse and jurisdictional issues. He has considerable experience of working with vulnerable clients, intermediaries and advocacy services.
